Both coding and CMS will do the job. Once you finish building your website you will upload it to the world web. Uploading your website to the internet is not the end it is the beginning you have designed the website for a reason, and you must have adjusted your website to reach your goal or the target for which you have designed the site.

Reaching your goal from designing the site is the process that will start right after uploading your site to the online world.

1- Traffic channels

Visitors comes to comes to your site from different channels and sources, you must be aware where your visitors coming from? Simply once you upload your site to the internet you are always concerned about google as a search engine; however, your visitors might be coming from Bing !!!! are you aware of that?

2- Conversion rate and goal completion

The website goal is the purpose behind building the website, and the conversion rate is the visitors converting to your goal. If one visitor converted, why the others are not? What are the percentage of the visitors who were almost converting, and they changed their minds?

It is important to know what your conversion rate is.

3- The page traffic level

You may know where your visitors are coming from at this point, but it’s important to know where they go. If someone came from a Google organic search, that is great – but if you know they landed on your most recent blog post, that is even better.

The page traffic level report that will help you find trends and see what people are clicking on that is bringing you traffic.

Again, it helps the client know whether they need to spend more time improving their product page or if perhaps they need to publish more videos and less content. The conclusions are endless.

4- Time onsite and bounce rate

Time on site and bounce rate help give your insight into whether the content you’re creating is “sticky.”

Pay attention to what sites you are monitoring for bounce rate and time on site, though. For example, if you see that users leave your landing page after 10 seconds, but that landing page has many outbound links, then you probably don’t need to worry about time on site and bounce rate for that page.

Focus on your core pages, like pages with rich content and/or videos. Is what you’re putting out there grabbing a viewer’s attention? If not, and it’s supposed to, use the other metrics in this list to make conclusions.

5- Rankings & Links

When you design a website, once you upload it will go to the end of the search engines pages, and usually when we navigate the web we do not go after the second page, that is if we have time. for your customers to be able to finds you must be in front of their eyes. If you are not in the first 2 pages, there is no need for your website. Some websites owners pay for google ads to get them at the first page, others are not.

Another factor must be in consideration, who links to your website? you might have a great content and third parties’ websites might be linking to it and this is like they vote for your website and you do not know.

Finally remember building the website and uploading it to the internet isn’t the end it is the beginning of a long journey, keep tracking your data and metrics records, in order to keep your site in the right track.
